Sekac signed a one-year deal with KHL team Ak Bars Kazan on Monday, Igor Eronko of Sport-Express reports.

Sekac has bounced around the league of late, having played for four different teams over the last two seasons. In total, the 23-year-old winger saw action in a meager 39 contests last season in which he tallied a paltry six points. Sekac returns to the KHL where he will need to seriously step up his game if he hopes to return to the NHL in the future.
