Lightning's Andreas Borgman: Sent to minors

Borgman was assigned to AHL Syracuse on Monday.

The 25-year-old blueliner has played seven NHL games this season, dishing out two assists and 10 hits. The Lightning acquired defenseman David Savard from the Blue Jackets over the weekend, so Borgman's depth isn't necessary anymore. He'll continue his development in the minors.
