Claesson was reassigned from the active roster to the taxi squad Sunday, Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com reports.
The Lightning are dealing with several injured blueliners so Claesson could be recalled for Thursday's tilt with New Jersey. The 29-year-old has been held scoreless through six NHL appearances this season.
