Jordan signed a contract with Akbars of the KHL on Friday, Igor Eronko of Russia's Sport-Express reports.
Jordan, who played for the Czech team in the World Cup of Hockey, said during the international tournament that he was eyeing a return to the NHL, but under the condition that he'd get a one-way deal. That didn't come to fruition, so the 26-year-old defenseman with decent passing skills will move his hockey career overseas for the first time.
