Penguins' Jeff Carter: Not playing Tuesday

Carter (upper body) won't play Tuesday against Carolina.

Carter will miss his fourth straight contest. He has nine goals, 12 points and 71 hits in 61 appearances this season. Samuel Poulin will play on the fourth line due to Carter's absence.
