Rangers' Magnus Hellberg: Added to NHL roster Friday

Hellberg was called up Friday to back up Antti Raanta against the Capitals, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Henrik Lundqvist sustained an apparent neck injury in Thursday night's game against the Penguins, prompting Hellberg's promotion to the parent club with the team going right back to work Friday. Hellberg has been sent in the crease 40 times with AHL Hartford this season, crafting a 22-16-2 record, 2.39 GAA and .919 save percentage.
