Stars' Magnus Hellberg: Put on waivers

Hellberg was placed on waivers Saturday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Hellberg played in 27 AHL regular-season contests between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Charlotte in 2023-24. In 26 career NHL appearances, he has an 8-8-1 record with a 3.08 GAA and an .890 save percentage. He will likely begin the 2024-25 campaign with AHL Texas, with Jake Oettinger and Casey DeSmith expected to start the year as Dallas' goaltenders.
