WATCH: Skier in ESPN's Body Issue gets super-awkward shrinkage question on tv
Gus Kenworthy exposed too much -- or maybe too little -- of himself during an interview with Good Morning America

What would your mom say if you appeared nude for a magazine, let alone one as large as ESPN's Body Issue? For at least one person, the answer is a worrisome "you're so brave." Skier Gus Kenworthy, who will be competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, exposed himself for the body issue, and when he appeared on Good Morning America they had some rather leading questions for him.
Kenworthy said that his mother said "I wouldn't do it," to which he shrugged and replied "well ... Hopefully they won't ask you to." An anchor followed up by saying she had been skiing in Colorado, adding "it's awfully cold out there," before clamming up. Making this especially hilarious was the slight audio delay, during which Kenworthy sat in silence while the panel doubled over laughing. Kenworthy said that there weren't any heaters, and he told an editor that initially told him to think of ways to "hide [him]self" that "it would hide itself."
You can see the full interview below, it's significantly better with the anchors' embarrassed reactions.
