Diamondbacks pitcher Matt Stites will appear in an extended spring training game on Monday, according to FOX Sports Arizona.
Following that outing, Stites will report to Class A Visalia to begin a minor-league rehab assignment.
Stites is on the disabled list due to an elbow injury.
A year ago, Stites posted a 5.73 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 33 innings. He's yet to appear in a game for the Diamondbacks this season.
