Diamondbacks pitcher Matt Stites tossed one scoreless inning on Monday in an extended spring training appearance, according to AZCentral.com.
Stites, who is currently on the 15-day DL with an elbow injury, allowed no hits and walked one of the four batters he faced. It was Stites' first action after throwing a simulated game last week.
Stites is yet to pitch this season after posting a 5.73 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 33 innings of work in 2014.
