Jays' Donaldson leaves second game this week due to injury
Donaldson exited limping during Thursday night's game vs. Baltimore
Remember on Saturday when Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson exited a game after aggravating his right calf? The good news was that Donaldson didn't miss any time. The bad news is that he might've made the injury worse on Thursday.
Donaldson left Toronto's game against the Baltimore Orioles after hitting an RBI double to right field. He pulled up lame about midway between first and second, and grabbed at that right calf while standing at second base. Donaldson was then removed for a pinch runner.

It's unclear what the Blue Jays would do at third base if Donaldson requires a stay on the disabled list. Ryan Goins and Steve Pearce seem like the most viable options.
The Blue Jays are, obviously, hoping Donaldson can avoid a trip to the DL -- or, at minimum, a lengthy trip. Toronto has been the biggest disappointment in the AL and has continued to struggle with scoring runs. Donaldson, for his part, entered the night hitting .308/.438/.577.
