Jemile Weeks placed on Triple-A DL with groin issue

Former brief Oakland standout second baseman Jemile Weeks has been placed on the 7-day Triple-A disabled list by the Orioles with a groin strain.

Weeks has been decent this season for Norfolk with a .279/.394/.397 stat line and 10 doubles in 55 games. He managed three hits in 11 at-bats during a short stint with Baltimore.
