Pirates outfielder Jose Tabata left Wednesday's game at Cincinnati in the bottom of the fifth inning after crashing into the outfield wall while making a catch. Tabata, who ran into the wall with his left shoulder, walked off the field under his own power after being evaluated by trainers.
Tabata was 0 for 2 before leaving the game. He was replaced in left field by Starling Marte.
