Diamondbacks pitcher Josh Collmenter put together the best start of his career Thursday, as he faced the minimum while mowing through the Reds in a 4-0 win.

Collmenter allowed three hits in the game, but erased each baserunner with a double play. He shut the Reds out in his first career complete game, striking out five batters and throwing just 94 pitches in the win.

Collmenter is now 4-2, but has not lost in his last seven starts. He carries a 3.34 ERA in 62 innings on the season, heading into his scheduled start against the Rockies Wednesday.
