The Phillies are looking to add a left-handed hitter in free agency and have discussed the possibility of signing free-agent first baseman Lyle Overbay, CSNPhilly.com reports.
Overbay has also drawn interest from the Astros. He hit .240/.295/.393 with 14 home runs and 59 RBI in 445 at-bats with the Yankees last season.
