Phils to add P Jesse Biddle to 40-man roster

The Phillies will add starting pitching prospect Jesse Biddle to their 40-man roster Thursday, reports Philly.com. Biddle's recent elbow trouble has been diagnosed as mild tendinitis, the report said.

Biddle went 5-10 with a 4.58 ERA in 19 starts among three levels of the minors.
