Remember Yogi Berra jumping into Don Larsen's arms after perfect game
One of baseball's first great TV moments.
Don Larsen throwing a perfect game in Game 6 of the 1956 World Series always will be one of Major League Baseball's great achievements. It's also an iconic moment because it was broadcast on TV, and the lasting visual of the perfecto is Berra jumping into Larsen's arms after the final out.

An image of the hug made its way to the Library of Congress, the moment was so famous. Asked what he remembered about the game, Berra once said that, because Larsen needed only 97 pitches to complete his perfecto:
"There was never any time to be nervous."
The Yankees went on to win the Series in seven games, with Berra finishing as the hitting star. Larsen won the Series' MVP though, and nobody has equaled his perfection in a World Series game. Larsen, 86, survives Berra.
