Tim Tebow's minor-league career with the Mets is alive and well. Well enough, anyway.

On Saturday, Tebow hit a double to snap out of a nasty 0-for-15 slump. Then, on Sunday, the former quarterback smacked his third home run of the season (check out the video above).

Tebow is hitting .220/.313/.313 with 35 strikeouts in 134 plate appearances overall this season, which isn't great in a vacuum, but is pretty impressive for a guy who spent a decade away from baseball. Prior to last season Tebow hadn't played baseball competitively since high school.

Scouts aren't excited by Tebow, but you know what? He has undeniably boosted attendance this year. Even on the road. Fans are flocking to see him. That's what it's all about, right? Making fans happy.
