Rangers' Jared Walker: Inks MiLB deal with Rangers
Walker signed a minor-league contract with the Rangers on Sunday.
Walker spent 2020 in the independent leagues and was previously in the Dodgers' organization, where he topped out at Double-A with a .212/.342/.364 slash line in 2019. He was off to a strong start in the independent leagues this season with a .295 average, six homers, 24 RBI, 25 runs and six stolen bases. The Rangers will assign him to their High-A affiliate in Hickory.
