On April 12, Kobe Bryant had the Achilles snap heard round the world when he ended his season with the severe injury. The Los Angeles Lakers still managed to get into the playoffs, but were swept quite easily by the San Antonio Spurs in the least competitive series of the first round.
Bryant had surgery on April 13 to immediately get going on his rehabilitation process. On Tuesday, he posted a picture getting his stitches removed on Instagram and tagged it with "#progress." Hopefully, he'll be able to get back on the court sooner rather than later and not be bothered by this injury long-term.
