NBA: All Star Game-Team LeBron at Team Stephen

If you want to see the 2020 NBA All-Star Game in person, it is going to cost you. This year, tickets to the main event at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois to see Team LeBron, led by Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, face off against Team Giannis, captained by Milwaukee Bucks star and reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo are soaring, according to The Score. NBA fans are eager to see the top players in the league take the court and are willing to pay a pretty penny to watch it in person.

The lowest ticket price listed on StubHub as of Thursday is $776, but with fees it comes out to $1,040. And this is to sit in the upper level baseline, as far removed from the court as it gets.

If you are looking to splurge, and a good seat is worth enough to you to hand over lots of cash, there are definitely options to get near the action.

Lower level seats are ranging from about $9,000-11,000, with the most expensive in that section going for $11,494. Remember, this is without fees. When all is said and done, the final price for that ticket comes out to $15,328. There is no longer a need to wonder why you always see celebrities sitting closer to the court, they're the only ones who can afford it.

There is also a ticket listed on StubHub for ... drumroll please ... a whopping $97,092, with a total final price of $129,458. If anyone reading this is willing to pay that much for a seat (that is not even on the lower level), please first consider donating to my student loans fund instead.

For that price, the three-figure upper corner seat must have LeBron personally serving you appetizers and Giannis coming around with drinks. Maybe all the celebrity guests come up for a photo-op and after the halftime performances by DJ Khaled, Quavo and Lil Wayne they give you for a private concert.

This year's NBA All-Star weekend will be unique, with new rules set in place for the the All-Star game to honor the late Kobe Bryant and the other victims of the helicopter crash that claimed nine lives in Calabasas, California in January .

The weekend will also see a player performing, with Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard scheduled to take the stage. He will not be participating in the game or the 3-point contest during injury, but his alter ego Dame D.O.L.L.A. will still be there to entertain fans.
