Bulls center Joakim Noah suffered a sprained right ankle during Wednesday’s game against the Wizards and has been ruled out of the game, the team announced.
Noah played 13 minutes and scored two points before suffering the injury. It's the same ankle that caused Noah to miss four games earlier this season, reports ESPN Chicago. Forward Taj Gibson started the second half in place of Noah.
"I'm alright," Noah said after the game, per Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
Noah's status for Friday's game against Boston will be determined after he is further evaluated Thursday.
