Late Monday night, DeMarcus Cousins dropped an all-time tweet directed at Sacramento Kings head coach George Karl. The Kings are an utter mess, with Karl "recruiting Kings vice president of basketball operations Vlade Divac and multiple players on the Kings' roster to unite with him in making the case to owner Vivek Ranadive that Cousins needs to be traded," according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. How much greatness is there in these three emojis?

Clearly, to Cousins, Karl is a snake in the grass. The amazing thing is that this isn't the first time this has happened. The most high-profile one was in 2011, after the Denver Nuggets traded Carmelo Anthony to the New York Knicks and Karl said on national television that Anthony wasn't committed to defense.

Those two are unambiguous, but there might be even more. We can't be certain that Andre Iguodala was referring to Karl here since it happened in the middle of May 2014, but a few months before this the then-Nuggets head coach had called him a "mole."

There was also this from J.R. Smith, who Karl criticized frequently, months after the Anthony trade/tweet. Fun fact: this was during the lockout, when Smith was playing in China.

And finally, Ty Lawson in the summer of 2012 (though he seemed to have a good relationship with Karl and league sources told CBSSports.com's Ken Berger that the Kings and Nuggets have discussed a trade involving him):

If you told me yesterday I'd be wondering how many NBA players have been referring to Karl as a snake and for how long, I'm not sure I'd have believed it. The NBA is amazing.
