What to Know

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Philadelphia 76ers will face off at 7:30 p.m. ET Feb. 12 at Wells Fargo Center without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

The Cavaliers beat the Indiana Pacers 120-113 on Friday. The win came about thanks to a strong surge after the first quarter to overcome a 47-28 deficit. It was another big night for Cleveland's center Jarrett Allen, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia strolled past the Oklahoma City Thunder with points to spare on Friday, taking the matchup 100-87. The Sixers' success was spearheaded by the efforts of center Joel Embiid, who posted a double-double on 25 points and 19 rebounds along with five blocks, and point guard Tyrese Maxey, who had 24 points in addition to five boards. That makes it six consecutive games in which Embiid has had at least ten rebounds.

The Cavaliers are expected to lose this next one by 4.5. They are currently four-for-four against the spread in their most recent games, however, a trend bettors might want to take into account.

Cleveland suffered a grim 114-94 defeat to Philadelphia when the two teams previously met in April of last year. Can Cleveland avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
