The Memphis Grizzlies were expected to win this one, and so far that's exactly how it's playing out. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Detroit Pistons 95-80 three quarters in.

Center Steven Adams has led the way so far for Memphis, as he has posted a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds in addition to four dimes. One thing to keep an eye out for is Kyle Anderson's foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Detroit has been relying on power forward Jerami Grant, who has 20 points and four assists along with four boards and two blocks, and small forward Hamidou Diallo, who has 17 points in addition to nine boards.

What to Know

The Memphis Grizzlies will square off against the Detroit Pistons at 7 p.m. ET Thursday at Little Caesars Arena. Memphis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Detroit likes a good challenge.

Everything went the Grizzlies' way against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday as they made off with a 135-109 victory. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Memphis had established a 104-74 advantage. Their power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. looked sharp as he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Detroit was expected to have a tough go of it on Tuesday, and that's exactly how things played out. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 116-86 punch to the gut against the Dallas Mavericks. Detroit was down 98-71 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. A silver lining for them was the play of center Isaiah Stewart, who posted a double-double on 15 boards and 14 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Stewart has had at least 11 rebounds.

The Grizzlies are the favorite in this one, with an expected 11.5-point margin of victory. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a three-game streak of ATS wins.

Memphis is now 38-18 while the Pistons sit at 12-42. A couple offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Memphis enters the contest with 113.1 points per game on average, good for third best in the league. Less enviably, Detroit has only been able to knock down 42% percent of their shots, which is the second lowest field goal percentage in the league. So the cards are definitely stacked against Detroit.
