Joel Embiid has some strong words for LaVar Ball as their feud continues
Ball made comments about Embiid and the Sixers recently on a radio show
Maybe it shouldn't be too much of a surprise, as neither party has ever shown a reluctance to hold their tongue, but one of the strangest NBA feuds continued recently, as Joel Embiid had some strong words for the world's most famous sports dad.
The drama began on draft night, as Embiid tweeted "Please dunk on him so hard that his daddy runs on the court to save him." This was in response to his teammate Ben Simmons' "Crazy pills" tweet, which he sent during a LaVar Ball interview.

Last week, LaVar responded while on a Philadelphia radio show, criticizing Embiid and Co. for tweeting like that when they've never won anything and have always been hurt. Via Philly.com:
"When you don't win, and don't even make the playoffs, and don't even stay on the court long enough, that's the best thing you can do—is tweet and make some stuff. Ain't nobody else doing that, because they're working on their games in the gym. These guys ain't played a game, [are] always hurt, and [are] at the bottom of the totem pole. So guess what? Get your [rear ends] off the goddamn Tweeter and get in the gym."
The latest chapter in the drama then came Tuesday night, as Embiid was on Instagram Live, and said, "F--- LaVar Ball."
It surely won't be long until Ball responds -- perhaps on his family's new reality show? One thing is for sure -- that first 76ers-Lakers game is going to be must-see TV.
