Lakers guard Kobe Bryant continues to rehab from Achilles surgery, but that is not the only concern for him at this time. The team announced Wednesday Bryant has left the country to undergo a procedure on his right knee, similar to the one he had done in 2011.

Bryant will have an Orthokine procedure done on his right knee, which is similar to platelet-rich plasma therapy. He may also undergo the procedure on his ankle, according to the Los Angeles Times.

It is not clear if this will impact Bryant's recovery from his torn Achilles, but there remains no timetable for his possible return at this point.
