Kyle Lowry's shooting woes have hit all-time low for shot-clock era
Kyle Lowry's shooting is historically low.
During the regular season, Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry averaged a career-high 21.2 points while shooting 42.7 percent and 38.8 percent from three. However in the playoffs, Lowry has been a shell of his All-Star self, averaging 12.2 points while shooting 30.8 percent and an atrocious 15.8 percent for deep.
Lowry's shooting in the playoffs has been so bad that for the shot-clock era, he is at an all-time low. From NBA Research Specialist at ESPN Stats & Info's Micah Adams:
Lowry is 1st player in shot clock era with 9 straight playoff games shooting under 40% while taking 10 or more shots.

Yikes!
No wonder Lowry was working on his shot till nearly 1 AM after Game 1.
Despite his poor shooting, Lowry was able to hit some clutch baskets in Game 2 to tie Toronto's series up with the Miami Heat 1-1. We will see if Lowry's poor shooting travels to Miami, when the Raptors play the Heat in Game 3 on Saturday.
