With only 23 games left in the season, the Los Angeles Clippers decided to add a new element to their team that could possibly help fly them into the postseason. A California condor by the name of Chuck.

Well, not an actual condor but a mascot version of the giant bird. That's right, the Clippers finally have a mascot, and Chuck is quite colorful.

The team unveiled their new mascot in a grand ceremony during halftime against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, which also featured team owner Steve Ballmer dunking off a trampoline.

Chuck also threw down a two-handed slam:

Before the start of the season, there was a report that the Clippers would have a mascot to help compliment their new uniforms and logo by the All-Star break. And while the Clippers couldn't deliver on their original reported deadline, having a mascot for the final stretch of the season should still allow Chuck to get in plenty of mascot-ing before the playoffs start in mid-April.
