With Draymond Green putting together an uncanny performance, the Warriors bombing away from long range, the Cavs responding to Golden State's runs and LeBron James being LeBron James, Game 7 of the NBA Finals is already an instant classic. Sunday's game was so enthralling that even President Barack Obama couldn't stop watching.

The President was flying for most of the game, watching it from the comforts of Air Force One. But once the plane landed, the President couldn't bring himself to leave as he had to know who was going to win.

A smart decision by the President as the game came down to the wire with both teams failing to score from the 4:39 mark to the 53 seconds mark. The stalemate was broken by a dagger three-pointer from Kyrie Irving and then LeBron James sealed the victory for Cleveland by hitting a game-clinching free-throw.

Perhaps still amped from the game, Obama congratulated James and the Cavaliers afterwards, expressing his happiness for the city of Cleveland for finally winning a championship:

Depending on when the Cavaliers play the Washington Wizards next season, they may not get a chance to receive an in-person congratulations from Obama but either way, they will still make a trip to the White House to be honored by the President for winning the 2016 NBA Championship.
