So were all of LeBron James' recent tweets in reference to Kyrie Irving? James told reporters his tweets were just a product of his "beautiful mind" but according to a report from The Vertical's Chris Mannix, the Cavs All-Star forward may not be on the same page as Irving.

From Mannix:

Irving remains a dynamic scorer, but the disconnect between Irving and James is real, several scouts and coaches told The Vertical, with the on-court chemistry between the two, said one scout who saw Cleveland play recently, “basically nonexistent.” Team sources insist the relationship is solid, that James is simply teaching, trying to raise Irving’s basketball IQ. No one understands Irving’s importance more than James, team sources told The Vertical, which is why no one is working harder than James to get the two All-Stars on the same page.

One reason why James decided to leave the Miami Heat and come back to Cleveland was because of Irving. The Cavs guard had just won the MVP award at the 2014 All-Star Game and James in his now famous "I'm coming home" letter, spoke at length about his excitement to team up with Irving. James wanted to play with a younger star that could help him carry the load, so he didn't have to shoulder too large of a burden as he grew older.

Irving has been that kind of player for James, as the two have paired nicely on the court. But the Cavs as a whole, have been up and down this season, not resembling a team that could beat the Warriors or even the Spurs in the Finals. And while the two may not see eye-to-eye all the time, as Mannix sources say, James is committed to making it work with Irving.

That is, after all, why James came to Cleveland in the first place. He wants to bring a championship to Northeast Ohio and believes that Irving will help him do it. There may be a few bumps in the road but it is just part of the journey for James and Irving.
