Houston came away victorious in Game 4 to even the series with the San Antonio Spurs, who have had injury trouble of their own after losing point guard Tony Parker for the postseason. The Rockets must now move on without their backup center, who was giving them quality minutes this postseason.
Nene, a top-10 pick in 2002, is a 14-year veteran who has been solid for the Rockets throughout the playoffs, averaging 10 points and 4.7 rebounds. He played just two minutes Sunday before leaving early to undergo an MRI at a local hospital.
