The 2008 Celtics' reunion on Kevin Garnett's Area 21 is the gift that keeps on giving, especially after their old coach, Doc Rivers, crashed the gathering.

After the crew spent a few minutes reminiscing about their title team, Rivers announced he had a retirement gift for Paul Pierce, who Rivers had also coached for two years with the Clippers.

And out from the back came ... you guessed it, a wheelchair.

No one -- not even his old coach or teammates -- is going to let Pierce live that sequence down, even if it was totally understandable at the time. 

Pierce, though, had the last laugh, cracking "a ring came with this wheelchair."
