The Houston Rockets outscored the Los Angeles Clippers 40-15 in the fourth quarter on Thursday, erasing a 19-point deficit and stealing Game 6 with a 119-107 win. The stunning, shocking, silly comeback took place with James Harden watching from the bench. Rockets forwards Corey Brewer and Josh Smith combined for 29 points in the period, going a combined 5-for-7 from 3-point range. Houston held the Clippers to 4-for-22 shooting and a scoring drought that lasted almost half the quarter. If you went to sleep when Los Angeles was leading, you'll want to see the Rockets catch fire:
Just watching that, you can feel the energy in the Staples Center change. You can see Houston gain confidence. This was an absolutely phenomenal effort from a team that had looked lifeless earlier in this series.
On the other hand, it was a catastrophic collapse by the Clippers. You definitely don't want to see all of their offensive possessions put together.
