After missing the entire 2014 season with a torn ACL, 49ers running back Kendall Hunter appears to be over the injury, reports the team's official website.

"He's coming along great," coach Jim Tomsula said. "I think we all have strong feelings for Kendall… but we definitely have a rep count on him. You've got to keep him corralled, but he's moving around really quick."

While Kendall is still receiving treatment on the knee, he said it's mostly just for maintenance purposes.

"Once you hurt something, you nurse it even if it isn't hurt," he said. "Just to stay healthy and be ready to go."
