The good: Cincinnati RB Isaiah Pead averaged an eye-popping 6 yards per carry for his career. He was the Big East Player of the Year in 2011 after rushing for 1,259 yards and 12 TDs. Pead also ran a 4.41 40-yard dash. The bad: There’s not much negative about Pead, who flew under the radar. His size (5-10, 200) could be a concern. The bottom line: An off-the-radar pick was initially well-received by most draft pundits. He gives the Rams a change-of-pace back behind three-time Pro Bowler Steven Jackson.
