Week 4 NFL picks for Eagles vs. Chiefs

Before you tune in to Sunday's showdown, you need to see the Chiefs vs. Eagles picks from SportsLine's proven model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,900 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. It went a sizzling 24-14 on top-rated NFL picks last season, returning more than $800. The model also enters Week 4 of the 2021 season on an incredible 123-81 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Eagles vs. Chiefs, the model is backing Kansas City (-7) to cover the spread on the road. Despite losing two straight, the Chiefs will be confident they can secure the victory on Sunday. Kansas City has won 13 of its last 17 games overall and the Chiefs are 7-2 in their last nine games against an opponent from the NFC East.

Philadelphia, meanwhile, is just 2-9 in its last 11 games when playing as the underdog. The Eagles are also coming off a lackluster performance against the Cowboys, and now they'll face an explosive Kansas City offense that's averaging 413 yards per game this season.

SportsLine's model is projecting Patrick Mahomes has a big day for Kansas City, as he throws for more than 320 yards and 2.30 touchdowns in the simulations. Mahomes is projected to target Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill early and often, with the dynamic duo combining for almost 200 receiving yards. Kansas City covers the spread nearly 60 percent of the time, making the Chiefs a great choice for Week 4 NFL bets.
