Oh, no. No. No. No. (Via @HockeyWebCast)

People of America, on behalf of your fellow countrymen allow me to enter this plea to you: Stop getting tattoos celebrating championships that don’t exist yet. It is almost always going to end very badly for you.

Take Mike, for instance. Mike is a St. Louis Blues fan, who won a contest from “The Rizzuto Show” on 105.7 FM the Point in St. Louis. The show asked fans what they would do to win a free St. Louis tattoo. The best answer won.

Mike’s winning answer was a little bit on the crass side (or a lot), but that was nothing compared to what he decided to get for his free tattoo. If it's free, ya gotta go big, right?

So Mike went all in on this being the year that the Stanley Cup was finally going to come to St. Louis. In a gigantic tattoo on his leg, Mike had the good folks over at Big Dave’s The Ink Spot in Troy, Missouri, put a giant Blues “2015 Stanley Cup Champions” logo on his leg in full color.

The St. Louis Blues did not win the Stanley Cup in 2015, in case you haven’t been following along this year. No one has yet. But the Blues most definitely won’t as they were eliminated by the Minnesota Wild in six games... in the first round.

At least Mike didn't have to pay for this.

Again, America, stop doing this. Unless you're this Chicago Blackhawks fan, who absolutely got it right
