Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen will have a new goalie mask for next season, which prominently features Batman in LEGO form.

Anaheim Ducks goaltender Frederik Andersen, the pride of Denmark, helped backstop his team to a third straight Pacific Division title and all the way to Game 7 of the Western Conference Final. He also had a really cool goalie mask with a nice personal touch.
On his last mask, Andersen honored one of the most famous Danish exports: LEGOs. He had a LEGO goalie building a plastic brick wall. It was a nice nod to his home country and it looked cool, as do many of the creations of mask artist David Gunnarsson of DaveArt.
For next season, Andersen is sticking with the LEGO theme, but with a slight twist. The LEGO character that will grace his mask in 2015-16 is, none other than LEGO Movie scene-stealer, Batman.
But that’s not all. The plastic Dark Knight, who appears on the mask three times, glows in the dark.
Also, Batman is sporting the superior old Mighty Ducks logo. There’s nary a boring “webbed D” on the design. Bonus points to Andersen from every child of the 1990s who weren't already geeking out over this one.
