LOOK: NHL reveals 2015 All-Star Game jerseys
The NHL revealed the jerseys players will wear during the 2015 NHL All-Star Game in Columbus.

The NHL revealed the jerseys for the 2015 NHL All-Star Game Friday evening and they are… something. What are your thoughts on neon green?
Well, there’s plenty of neon green on both jerseys, which will have white and black bases. The NHL logo will appear in the chrome style that debuted during last year’s Stadium Series games and the jerseys look to be anything but traditional.
The first full look at the new threads popped up in the Sabres store and eagle-eyed Eric Schmitz (@3rdManIn) snapped the few photos up at the top there. The league's official unveiling came at the NHL Store in New York City Friday evening.
The All-Star Game has often been a testing ground for new jersey styles and it appears they’re going on the extremes of the spectrum with this latest jersey. The only way I can describe the style is that they look like what we all thought the future would look like while living in the 1990s. Either that or they can be recycled for motocross uniforms later.
Maybe they’ll look better in game action, when combined with the pants and socks. Oh no, what are the pants and socks going to look like? Here's the full getup.

Maybe I’m too much of a traditionalist, but I think vertical striping or piping on any hockey jersey just doesn't look right. Also, as more and more teams have reverted back to their traditional jerseys, why do the all-star jerseys continue to have to go crazy? The clean, classic look works so well for the aesthetics of the game.
I don't mind a little thinking outside the box, but it's hard to see there being a long line to purchase these.
The NHL has already announced the first six players named to the midseason classic -- Buffalo Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons and Chicago Blackhawks players Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Brent Seabrook, Duncan Keith and Corey Crawford -- and head coaches Peter Laviolette and Darryl Sutter. The remainder of the rosters for All-Star Weekend, which will take place in Columbus Jan. 24-25 will be revealed Saturday.
