The NHL has postponed all 14 of its games scheduled for Monday, Dec. 27, extending its holiday break by at least one day. Play will resume on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at the earliest, but a decision has not been yet made.
The total number of games the league has had to postpone due to COVID-19 testing and protocols is now at 64.
Teams will still report on Sunday, Dec. 26 to resume practice, but all players, coaches and other team personnel will not be cleared to participate until clearing a COVID-19 test.
