Video: Canadiens' Brandon Prust shoots puck through net in practice
Brandon Prust doesn't use it a lot, but it appears that he has a pretty powerful shot that not even the nets in Edmonton can contain.
When a team goes through their line rushes in practice it can be a pretty mundane ritual. That is, until a player like Montreal's Brandon Prust pulls a Shea Weber and blasts a shot that literally goes through the net.
Here is Prust destroying one of the practice nets in Edmonton during the morning skate ahead of the Canadiens' game on Monday night against the Oilers.

What's especially great about this is that it wasn't a direct shot. It was actually deflected by the goalie.
Prust doesn't score many goals (only 35 in 377 career games) but you have to remember that even the marginal offensive players in the NHL still possess not only an absurd amount of skill, but also a ton of power behind their shots.
