Oh no.

When a team has lost seven games in a row like the Calgary Flames did entering play on Saturday, it is very safe to say that a lot of things are probably going wrong.

Things like this.

With the Flames ready to go on an early power play thanks to a delayed penalty call on the Canucks, they pulled goaltender Jonas Hiller for an extra attacker until Vancouver could gain possession of the puck to stop the play and start the power play. That's when Dennis Wideman's pass to the point ended up bouncing off the boards, and, well...

Yes. That's a goal for the Canucks, even though they committed a penalty and were about to go shorthanded.

The goal was credited to Vancouver's Yannick Weber since he was the last player on the team to touch the puck.

This type of thing does happen from time to time, including to Chicago's Patrick Kane a year ago. It's also how Martin Brodeur ended up gettting credited with a goal in 2012-13 when he was still playing for the New Jersey Devils
