Barcelona vs. Inter Milan score: Barca wins without Messi, keep Icardi in check
The Spanish club looks well on its way to winning the group

No Lionel Messi, no problem. Barcelona took care of Inter Milan on Wednesday in the Champions League group stage, scoring a goal in both halves for the 2-0 win to move to nine points in Group B. Holding Mauro Icardi to next to nothing, the hosts at the Camp Nou looked composed and determined to get the result from the opening whistle. It was the man who replaced the injured Messi who got the winning goal against a special opponent.
Rafinha, who spent last season on loan at Inter Milan, scored the winner for Barca with a fine finish off a Luis Suarez cross. Take a look at his first-half strike:

Jordi Alba then put the game away with seven minutes to go with this great strike, combining with Ivan Rakitic:

Barca held Inter to just two shots on frame and had nearly 70 percent of the possession on the night. Barca next goes to Inter early in November on Matchday 4, and a win there will all put wrap up the group for Ernesto Valverde's side.
