Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi missed Saturday's game because he was throwing up, the club announced. He didn't feature in the 0-0 draw against Malaga, which also saw the team without Luis Suarez due to suspension.

It was a tough break for Barca, and the team could have used him to try and beat the on-fire Carlos Kameni.

There is no timetable for Messi's return. He may just need a couple days to get better. Barcelona does have a match midweek in the Champions League against Celtic, so we'll see if he can make a return then.
