Following their draw with Newcastle, Manchester United will now host Burnley

The new manager bounce is over for Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United with the customary 1-0 league wins now becoming 1-1 draws. Facing Burnley without Bruno Fernandes, the Red Devils will be put to the test. The Clarets are in a tough spot as this is their first game in 18 days due to multiple postponements. As Maxwel Cornet is also touch and go, Sean Dyche could have some tough decisions to make.

Storylines
Manchester United: The biggest question for Manchester United is what will the lineup look like without Fernandes and with Edinson Cavani pushing for inclusion after his late equalizer against Newcastle United. Most likely Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek will come in for Fernandes and Mason Greenwood, but there is the pending question of Marcus Rashford's performance as well. Since returning from injury, Rashford hasn't looked like himself and isn't getting into the attacking third much. With only two goals over his 10 appearances and only six shots on goal, things will need to pick up sooner than later. In reality, United forwards not named Cristiano Ronaldo haven't been good enough this season but as Cavani is the only one not to hit 500 minutes yet, he gets a pass.
Burnley: If Maxwel Cornet can't play, the Clarets are up against it. With Cornet on the pitch, they've scored 11 goals and allowed eight. With him off the pitch, they've scored three and allowed 13. This is one of the most impactful talisman in the league as the other forwards available to Sean Dyche aren't good enough. Chris Wood has had his spells but he isn't getting the job done this season and playing Cornet at least gives defenses something to think about helping take pressure off of the back line. They should've scored more without Cornet as the team created nine expected goals without him but if the forwards aren't good enough to link up with Dwight McNeil, the quality of chances created doesn't matter.
Prediction
I don't think Cornet is healthy enough to make the difference so United will run over Burnley in this one. Pick: Manchester United 2, Burnley 0
