Manchester United and Liverpool played to an exciting 1-1- draw at Old Trafford on Sunday, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic's late goal canceled out James Milner's first-half penalty kick.

Unbeaten in 15 games entering this one, United attacked and attacked all match long but found it difficult to beat an inspired Simon Mignolet, as the Belgian goalkeeper made fantastic saves all match long.

Liverpool started better and the Reds were boosted by a Paul Pogba handball that gave the team a penalty kick before the match reached the 30 minute-mark, and Milner finished with confidence. Take a look.

United then pushed for an equalizer, but chances wouldn't develop and the shots went wide. Looking for something from the match, Mourinho sent his men up in numbers and brought on Marouane Fellaini, with the hope that he could add something as they tried to draw level. But time and time again, they came up empty.

That is until their superstar struck again, with Fellaini doing his part.

Ibrahimovic scored his 13th goal in his last 13 matches, heading home a cross in the 84th minute that hit the crossbar and went in. That followed Fellaini's headed shot off the post.

Ibra had just one goal in his first 11 games, but he has been the best striker in the league since and rescues a point.

The result was enough for Liverpool to move t third place at 45 points. Tottenham sits in second place with the same points as Liverpool but holds a four-goal advantage in the goal difference column. United remains in sixth with the draw.
