With Wayne Rooney currently injured, the English national team has looked primarily at Tottenham's Harry Kane and Leicester City's Jamie Vardy to be the man up top for the Three Lions. Vardy scored twice over the international break for England, and has picked up a big fan in the process, which may make Rooney a bit jealous. Speaking to ITV Sport, Rooney said his son asked him to get an England kit with Vardy on the back.

An inspirational story that has taken the soccer world by storm, much like his club, Vardy was playing in the lower divisions of English soccer just four years ago and is now one of the most prolific, in-form strikers in the world.

This season Vardy has 19 goals in 33 matches for Leicester. One of his two goals scored for England was this sick backheel golazo last week against the reigning World Cup champs Germany.

He's gone from no-name to world star status this season, and everyone has noticed --including Rooney's little boy.

His son wants his dad to party like Vardy, and there's nothing wrong with that.
