World Cup draw 2022: Twitter reacts to USMNT getting England in Group B
Who could forget what happened the last time both countries met in the World Cup?

The 2022 World Cup is approaching in November and the group draw was announced on Friday. The United States will be playing in Group B along with England, Iran and Scotland/Ukraine or Wales.
When the United States faces England in group play, it'll mark just the third time in World Cup history both countries have played one another. As crazy as it may sound, England has never beaten the United States in World Cup play. The Americans earned a 1-0 win in 1950 and the teams played to a (very infamous) 1-1 draw back in 2010.
In addition to England, facing Iran will be a chance to exercise some demons for the United States. Iran defeated the United States, 2-1, in the group stage during the 1998 World Cup. With the United States slated to take on England, Twitter was abound with thoughts on the upcoming matchup. The United States will face England on Black Friday -- one day after Thanksgiving -- shortly after the 2022 World Cup gets underway.

When the United States played England to a 1-1 draw during the 2010 World Cup, English goalkeeper Robert Green surrendered a horrific goal to American star Clint Dempsey. It's safe to say that this draw may have brought up some unpleasant memories for Green.

In addition, having USMNT get an opportunity for a rematch with Iran is certainly something that the soccer world has on its mind.
