WATCH: Stanford's Fran Belibi blocks shot, throws down one-handed dunk in insane coast-to-coast play
The Cardinal routed Montana State 78-37 in the NCAA Tournament's first round, but Belibi's dunk will be the game's lasting memory

Stanford is the reigning national champion in women's college basketball, and the squad showed it hasn't lost a step in this year's NCAA Tournament by creating a highlight for the ages on Friday. Stanford forward Fran Belibi soared for a dunk during her team's first-round matchup against Montana State.
Midway through the second quarter, Belibi blocked a Montana State 3-point shot, collected the rebound and sprinted to the other end of the floor. A Montana State defender trailed her, but Belibi rose up for a vicious one-handed slam dunk anyway. The Stanford bench erupted after Belibi's insane coast-to-coast play.

Belibi's dunk highlighted an extraordinary outing from the Cardinal overall. Stanford held Montana State scoreless in the first quarter and eventually won the game 78-37. Belibi was dominant throughout, securing a team-high 13 rebounds to ago along with 12 points and two blocks.
With the blowout win in the rear view mirror, Stanford will play No. 8 seed Kansas on Sunday. The Jayhawks were similarly impressive in their first-round matchup, as they topped No. 9 Georgia Tech behind a 19-point, five-rebound performance from junior guard Holly Kersgieter
